I’m going to Houston Texas soon, can anyone tell me the best shop there for scale models?

you might try hobby island on richmond, just east of gessner. its pretty much the only place i go.

Hobby Island

there are a few others, but they are essentially worthless for plastics. Don’t even waste your time at I&I or the like.

Hobby Island is the best. There’s G&G Model Shop in the Village. (near Rice University) You might want to check out M&M Hobby Center off Chimney Rock in Bellaire. (they have alot of RC stuff) Another one on Westheimer called Trains&Planes, Toys&Hobbies. Happy hunting!

Damn, I was just in Houston last week. Wish I’d seen this thread beforehand. Ah well. I did get to go to Lone Stan Flight Museum while I was away.
