what is the identity of the beautiful floatplane that leonardo flies with Hepburn in the Aviator…Nice plane that I don’t remember seeing before. Obviously no model of it I’m sure.
I believe it is a Sikorsky S -39 could be a -38. I know there has been a few limited run type kits of the 39. Beautiful aircraft used by Pan Am and Osa Johnson, adventurer in Zebra stripe and Leopard Spots!

It’s the 38. Not that it does me much good…As usual when I see something interesting.It has either never been kitted or has been and is now deleted.Looked over a few sites and googled but no Kit appears to be out there…Oh Well…Beautiful plane though.
