It was truly amazing the quality that was at the show. It lasted for four days and I was at every one of them, as a matter of fact I tried to take in it all and even that was not enough to see everything.
There were 1200+ that were pre-registered with the usual 10% that were in the no show column. Then there were another 3000+ who showed up (some with models for competion and display). For Competion and for display there were over 4000+ models there.
There were vendors out the wazoo, not only the local dealers but from all around the US as well. We sold 400+ tables to about 100 dealers. Then there was DragonCom which included DRAGON, HASEGAWA,TAMAYA as well as their dealers were there. Talk about a HOBBY SHOP ,you name it and I mean you could find it.

Vance sounds like you had a very nice time in Atlanta. Wow one big hobby shop full of model makers. I can only imagine the pain my wallet would have endured ! I cant wait to see some oF the models that were in the show and on display. Oh well maybe next year I can go to KC.
I look forward to being able to get to a Nationals someday. The last one I attended was the 1992 in Seattle. KC may still be a bit far. We will see. 2007 will bring it to the West again.
Tankmaster7, I saw so many people sitting there at the room where we went into. As far as your spending is concerned, I spent just about the same. Especially when the room went to a 1/2 price sale Saturday afternoon.

This event was superb! It was the first time the the Puerto Rico IPMS chapter attends a national, and needless to say, we are very , but very impressed and honored. We brought 4 awards, and that in itself is a tremendous accomplishment. My most sincere gratitude, recognition and congratulations to each and every IPMS member that put together this event and all the good folks that presented their extraordinary work there. Surely, it was a great time among all these great folks. Thank you all for your warmth, friendship and for the opportunity to having been along. Will see you all in Kansas City next year. God Bless.
