Thank you Fine Scale Modeler and all those that support us!

Thanks to everyone in the FSM community and IPMS for your continued support of the Tall Afar Hobby Club. We are all very much indebted to you for your acts of kindness and consideration. Although we still don’t have an ‘official’ meeting place, soldiers are having a blast building models. Because of your generosity, we have been able to put together model building ‘care packages’ and send them out with soldiers working in even more remote and isolated locations than us. The kits, paints, brushes, tweezers, knives, and sand paper that you have supplied has made it to every corner of our area of operations. Every soldier that comes to us is sent away with at least one model and enough building supplies to finish his kit in style. What truly amazes me is the generosity of the American (and Canadian!) people back home that have helped us out. We’ve also gotten positive words of encouragement from people across the globe. So on behalf of all us guys here,

THANK YOU!!!

Dave Wallace and the Ft. Tall Afar Hobby Club

To Dave Wallace and other members of the Ft. Tall Afar Hobby Club:

You’re welcome, but is we who thank you, as it is we who are indebted. All we did is send some plastic and paints. It cost us nothing but a little time and a little money. We would have just spent the money on beer, anyway.

If you or any members of your hobby club are ever in the Kelowna BC Area, let me know and I’ll stand you a cold one!

Keep your chin up and your head down, and come home safe!

Bill Grigg

Hey Bill,

Thanks for you kind note! Here’s to our friends in British Columbia: Cheers!!! Got an envelope from Mike Lee of Vancouver; tried to locate him on the FSM page, but no luck. Any chance you know Mike?? Well Mike, if you are out there, thanks for the files and parts nippers; we can’t mail anything to Canada from where we are, so just wanted to send my thanks out to you and the other Canadian friends! Bill, thanks for your words of support going out to all our guys serving abroad; it means a lot to us all to see the support on the web!

All the best,

Dave W.

It’s me. I was giving some tools recently.

Dave Wallace, as I think for all of us, we wish we could do more but things are tight here right now.

I do want to ask a favor, can you please post the address on where people can send models and tools and Paints and so on.

Your address’s keep changing

Thank you and Thank all of you for what you are doing for us over there.

Have a GREAT day

Bud
