hi!-guy’s , I have just been given a bottle of testors dullcote I’m not sure how to use it , in an airbrush , 1/, how to thin it ,
2/, how to clean my airbrush
I’ve looked up u-tube but it seems to concentrate on the spraycan , I think it means for me to use lacquer thinner’s is this correct .

That is a great clear flat coat. I thin it pretty close to 50/50 with generic lacquer thinner from Home Depot. I also use the same LT to clear my airbrus. It’s safe to use over acrylics too, but to be safe let the acrylic dry overnight. I have never had any reaction over oil, enamel or acrylic paints.
Also spray light coats to cover till you get the desired effect. It dries within a few seconds.
I second everything that plastic junkie says. Dullcoat is my go-to dulling paint, both the spray cans or the stuff in the bottle for small areas.
