Testors 1/35 WC-51 build

So I am calling this one done, aside from the crew figures. The kit itself was built OOB, although I did add a Combat Series brass machine gun pintle mount and took an Academy M1919 Browning .30 cal. from my spares bin for the gun itself. Most of the stowage is Value Gear, aside from the jerry cans, which are a mix of Tamiya, Academy, and 3D printed. Base paint is AK Real Colors. Most of the kit decals self destructed due to age, so replacements came from my spares…

Thanks for looking, comments and critiques are welcome.

You’re looking for critiques?

The only critique I have is that your WC-51 is not sitting in MY display cabinet. Seriously, you knocked that out of the park in walk-off fashion. (Yeah, I played baseball). The dusty and dirty look makes it look like one can just sit down in it and drive away. Absolutely fantastic.

I completely agree with @Aggieman ….well executed. All the gear looks great also, enough variation to keep it as separate pieces, yet close enough in tones to not look intentional.

Great finish on this truck Stik. Weathering looks awesome. Did you use your 3d printed jerry cans? Looking forward to your figures.

Thanks John! The lower jerry can with the attached canvas bucket was actually printed up by one of the guys at AMPS, as I do t have that file with the holder and bucket…. and the other two cans are some of the last Tanya & Academy ones from my spares stock. I haven’t started using my printed ones yet.
