Are there any original ideas for attaching 1/35 tank rider figures to the hull of my JS-3 tank BUT without pouring glue on the beautiful finish of my vehicle?
After All the work painting and weathering the hull I just can’t bring myself to simply gluing the figures to it. Their placement doesn’t have to be rock solid, just enough to prevent them from falling off if the clear acrylic case the tank will be in has to be moved gently from point A to point B.
Non-glue joints (tape??) will also allow me for careful positioning adjustments. There is half a squad of them guys and if I try attaching them permanently I will screw up.
Can you use a tube of quick drying silicone dabbed on certain areas of each soldier and then placed on the tank. Plus, you can pull off the men later easily without affecting the tank.
If you ever want to change it -The residue on the tank can be lifted with a small ball of already dryed cement or a rbubber cement “pick-up” (looks like an eraser)
Sorry, boybuddho, - we must have been writing at the same time
3M Removable/Reusable adhesive strips. Cut and stick where u want. Stretch-pull to remove. It has also very high load capacity. Should not har the finish of your tank.
how about “blu-tac” MonsterZero? i presume it’s called the same in states? a tiny tiny piece should be enough to stick a 2 footed infantryman to your tank [:)](a one footed infantryman?! ouch!![B)][:0][:p][(-D]), but you might struggle with the guys jumping off, only attached by a foot and a hand…[V]
hope this helps.
