hi all, i just bought a verry good book about operation “fall braun” at kappelse veer in the netherlands.
the book has a tank pic i really want to build, but i cant id the tank, it’s a sherman and i know its canadian, and it’s either from the south alberta regiment or the argyll and sutherland highlanders i think.

Looks like a M4A4 with massive amounts of either T54 or T62 track blocks as add on armor.
The panzerfausts must have made them a bit nervous. [:)]
Agreed. Those are Sherman Vs (M4A4s). You can tell by the 3 piece nose and the spacing between the bogie wheels.

well i plan first doing it in 1/72, just because that’s a scale i can affort easely and have room for, and have the most experience in.
currently i’m building the panther and panzer1 smart kits 1/35 if they turn out oke, then mayby i’ll do it in 1/35 next.
for now i think i build the firefly vc 1/72. and then convert a second firefly to the sherman of the foto because that’s the only 1/72 dragon kit with the storage behind the turret
