Tamiya are gonna’ be releasin’ this in December. What a choice, unbelievable huh?! [:D]
Obviously it’ll be a much better toolin’ than Italeri’s, without a doubt! [;)]
I almost think that might be the Italeri reboxed for the Japanese market with Tamiya figures. Since Tamiya has done that with a few of there kits.
Yeah I’d go with the Italeri reboxed it happened with that spg and the rso in the past.
Terry.
It would be nice to see something different from Tamiya. How about a Valentine or Crusader?
Or even a re-release of their M16 with aluminium gun barrels and a fully detailed PE set! God man, i’d even buy two! [swg]
Agree, but… Now that their Char B is winning hearts and minds, how about Tamiya doing something else that no one has done in plastic - M11/39, Med Tank Type 89, Cruiser A9 or A10 or A13, Churchill III or IV, or even a proper T80?
Let DML do the umpteenth version of the Panzer IV.
JMHO.
i think it’s a reboxed italeri kit too. if you look closely, those two figures were the ones included in their panther G late version kit. as per tamiya’s release history, they almost always try to throw in new figures for every new kit, even re-released old kits… (for example, the afrika corp 88, which i surprisingly still bought. =P)
Meh, it’s probably the Italeri rebox. I’d have been pretty surprised to see Tamiya wasting resources on a new tool of this kit.
Isn’t the AB43 the late version armed with a 47mm gun? Seems odd that Tamiya would use a different designator if it is really just the Italeri AB41 kit.
How about a Panhard 178 to go along with the Char B, but I like several of your other options as well.
I think Tamiya has gone complacent or has surrendered the 1:35 market to Dragon. I do not see any competetive move on their part while Dragon is making headway making modellers like us very happy. They are escaping by way of the 1:48 market. Come on Tamiya bring back the Tamiya Mokei spirit again!
