Please can some one help me here…I’m working on Tamiyas 1/32 F-4J Phantom, well the instruction sheet calls for XF-16(flat aluminum) for the cockpit color. After looking over a ton of photos of cockpits i’m not sure. Can anyone help me with the right color…Many thanks
Check out this site - it doesn"t show the F-4J but does show the other variants, which leads one to believe that they were all the same color scheme. [8-]
The standard for US Aircraft since and during Vietnam is Dark Gull Grey interior with black instrunment panels.
Bracketeers, you got good info from toadwbg and Tom. If you check out the website Tom provided, the F-4S was not a foreign export as the site states, but an upgrade of the -J. The cockpit colors in those photos are consistent with the full-sized navy Rhinos I’ve seen.
