Hello Russ!
I like the camo a lot more now - I think you have blended the colours together somewhat! The dio idea is very interesting, too! Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Thanks Pawel. Yes, I used a Vallejo “desert sand” wash and then a light sand pigment, also Vallejo, the get the colors looking less garish. I even did a very small amount of chipping, using a 3M Scotchbrite pad before the wash and pigment. Fuel and oil stains were done with Vallejo (surprise) “oiled earth” wash. Quick and easy.
I’m thinking: have the T-55 tow cables hooked to the front, on the ground, as if a recovery attempt was interrupted, leaving the easily repairable T-55 as a donor to the Tiran program.
I like where this is going. Lebanon 1982 is a neglected area for modeling subjects, but rich in possibilities.
Russ - I like the idea with the cables a lot. You might even have one of them frayed or broken. Rob once wrote what pain working with those tow cables is - maybe your dio could convey that. Whatever you decide - good luck and have a nice day

Stik, thanks. I agree, trying to do my best. [:D]
Pawel, a broken cable is a possibility, good idea.
Sounds like a neat idea, looking forward to seeing it together!
Me too! [:D]
