Calling this one done! Finished it up this weekend. The little parts needed some finessing and patience but the end result is a great kit. Comments welcomed…

Wow! Great whitewash. What did you use for it? This Tamiya kit is real tempting, but I have the AM in the stash with all the Aftermarket for it that I really should put to good use soon. Is this all oob? Whats the kit cockpit detail like?
Sweet! Love all the detail, like the rudder and elevator trim tabs and rudder counter-balance. The canopy looks very much to scale thickness. Was the idea for that particular whitewash scheme in the directions?
Great finish! Beautiful paintwork.

VERY, VERY NICE JOB!!! I really like the whole thing! Keep up the good work!
Excellent! Yeah clue us in on the whitewash technique, it’s very effective.
Yes, great looking fighter and the WW looks spot on! Love how you wore it away right in the places where you think it would wear away first. Very realistic job!
WOW, what a finish!! Absolutely love the whitewash! Going to have to give that hairspray method a try soon.
Beautiful build and great weathering!
Nice work !! I need to pick up one of these.
I’m not much of a plane guy but if I was the Sturmovik would be at the top of my to do list. And your build, top notch.[Y]
Thanks for the kind words guys…
As far as the white wash, I followed the short film clip here on FSM site. Just follow the steps as stated. The only thing I did different was I airbrushed the hairspray on instead of using the spray can. The whole method takes some forethought and time but works well.
