Tamiya StuG III B interior color

I have the Tamiya 1/35 StuG III ausf. B… As you know, this kit comes with the fighting compartment interior, well here’s the problem: In the instruction sheet says that I must paint it (I mean the walls and the floor) white… but I know that there is an interior color for German tanks: Panzer interior buff… well I know that this Tamiya kit is a very recent kit, so I think the white color must be “wrong” and I must paint it Panzer interior buff… any suggestions?.. white or interior buff?. I only know that white is most used for modern AFV’s, but all German kits I’ve built, calls for white… even if they has almost no interior detail… Thanks in advance.

I use Model master panzer interior , which is a cream color , white may be a bit stark for the interior ,you can make this color with a 50/50 mix of tamiya white and regular tamiya Buff , that should be pretty close to what you need .

You can either paint it white and then dirty the interior with a touch of brown, or dont paint it all if you are planning later on not to have the hull open.

I myself just paint it white and put the tank as is.
Beside, opening and closing the hull everytime is not a good idea.

Nice reference site. Good description. Hell, who can argue with Jentz and Doyle?

In my opinion, stick with the Tamiya Buff. Noone is going to say its wrong.
