Mike, great looking Storch.
It looks like it could just take off.

Fine piece of work, Mike!
I have one of these in the stash, but am kinda intimidated by masking/ assembling the canopy. How did you approach it? Any other points to watch for?
Cheers,
Chris.
Thank you for the comments
Assembly went very well they just fall into place, the masking took a long time but i did not want to rush it i used a new scaple blade on a piece of glass to cut the masks out that is what took most of the time.
Thanks
Mike
Great job Mike, ive built the 1/32 storch and loved it. Ive heard nothing but good things about this kit. You’ve made it look fantastic. I love the plain desert scheme.
It comes with the window masks in the kit doesnt it?
…Guy
Thank you
Yes it does, and they are great they are made from tamiya tape but you must just cut them out yourself.
Thank you
Mike
Excellent work Mike! I have yet to get one of these (little expensive for my taste) but they sure do look nice. Looks like the time spent masking really paid off, the clear parts look excellent. Thanks for sharing! [tup]
Love it… I’ve always loved the storch!
So… simple question… Was it worth the money? Is it the 1/48 scale one?
And, any better pictures of the interior available? [:)]
-Huxy
Yes, it’s worth the money, even though, in the UK at least, you can get the Hasegawa 1/32 and Tristar 1/35 kits for less. The kit fair shouts quality, and sometimes, quality is worth paying extra for.
Cheers,
Chris
Thank you Gents
It is worth the money i have another one in my stash that will be in the winter camo.
Thanks
Mike

Thank you very much, it is a sweet kit and a pleasure to build.
Thank you
Mike
Nicely done Mike [tup]. I have the kit in my stash so yours may inspire me to break the shrink wrap [:)].
Regards, Rick
Wow some nice work. Looks like a neat plane.
Mike excellent build. Hope to get one of those for the stash soon
Great job of that Storch. I made one for CFS3. It was the most interesting interior I have ever done. Also the best plane to fly in the sim to my taste.
I have one of those kits and I expect it will be one of my early builds.
I took a short hop during AIRSHO weekend in the CAF Storch back in '90-something… It was a hoot… All the traffic on I-20 was passing us by about 30 MPH when we were eastbound… We were flying at around 80 indicated, but nowhere near that in groundspeed, LOL…
Speaking of which, here’s a short story on flying the CAF Storch…
