I was given one of these tamiya scribers but never used it before…how well dothey work?

great news, I dispize re-scribing! How is it used, in a pulling motion?

You may learn to like it with this tool. Yes, just a pulling motion with very light pressure. I usually make a couple of passes to get the desired result. Dymo tape used as a guide.

Great tool. Multiple soft “pulling” strokes with light pressure is the way to go for sure. Resisit the temptation to speed things up by pressing down to hard. Inevitibely, that seems to be when things go wrong!

(EDIT) nevermind I think I have figured out what that tape is, the stuff they use to make lables from…now to try find some
