Im starting to get into buying more then just paints. I saw that tamiya had a set of panel liline colors for accenting but I’m not really sure what color to get? I’m currently working on an LWS and was thinking of the light grey, dark grey and even black panel liner, what would you guys recommend?
You will actually use them all…I use the black mostly but the brown comes in handy for darker colored models and the greys are good for modern aircraft and darker camo models as well. Always nice to have all the tools in your tool box
what did you think of the pinkish brown one for figures? It looks like an interesting concept
I have started using their Dark Brown panel highlighting paint. I find that the Black is too dark. Keep in mind that the panel paint is an enamel paint and that you will need enamel thinner to clean up the excess panel paint.
Thank you for that info, I’m gonna try the Gray, Black and brown and see how i like it. I’m working on an LWS so it should be a fun experiment. I think i have some tamiya thinner somewhere
