Tamiya Paints for a 1:72 F/A-18F Super Hornet

Hello

I would like some help painting my F/A-18F Super Hornet. Could you tell me what colors I should use of the Tamiya Set.

I have built F-18’s before choosing different Gray’s and they never look right.

I would like my model to look like the one above

There is no paint match in Tamiya bottle paint for the light ghost gray and dark ghost gray on USN/USAF aircraft. They do have those colors in their spray paints. To get light ghost gray you’ll need to mix XF-2 white, XF-19 sky gray, and XF-66 light gray together. I don’t remember the rqatios

Here’s what I found

Dark. Xf66:1+xf54-1+xf2-3 or try xf 19

Light xf19-1+xf2-3
