I have seen some Tamiya 1/72 scale Helicopters on ebay, Japanese Tamiya website & the Hobby Link Japan website http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljlist.cgi (which says that they are re-boxed Italeri molds).
Anybody know anything about these kits?
If they are Tamiya molds, I would like to get a few. They are quite a bargain ($5.97-$7.97 USD), although shipping will jack up the price.
While I do not have any information regarding these helicopter kits, Tamiya does import Italeri armor kits for the Japanese home market and puts them in Tamiya boxes. Not too far fetched to assume they would do the same thing with aircraft or helicopters.
Not all that great a deal since most Italeri 1/72 scale helicopters run under $6-7 for a smaller utility or attack helicopter here in the US or at various online retailers or Ebay.
