Tamiya Basic Spray Work airbrush sprays paint even when not depressing trigger?

I’ve tested this on my old and a new Tamiya Spray Work airbrush now and don’t know what’s wrong. I was spraying Vallejo Metal color ( unthinned since it’s already thin) and the airbrush is connected to a Sparmax compressor. once I turn on compressor the paint sprays out even when I’m. Or pulling trigger back. When I do pull trigger back of course it sprays even more paint. Needle is in all the way and not bent. No leaks of paint cup. Compressor hose is attached to an adapter to properly fit the airbrush to the iwata hose. What’s going on?
thanks.

Hi Jim! Sorry I can’t help you with your problem but I do have a suggestion. If you go to the “Painting and Airbrushing” section of these Forums, you will have a lot of guys there that are very knowledgeable about airbrushes and should be able to help you. Give it a try.

Hope that this helps you.

Stay Safe.

Thanks. I just re-posted.

Completely clean your airbrush…even things that you think may not be dirty. My Iwata sprayed after ai let off the trigger cause it was dirty. Also check your seal at the brush and make sure you did not roll the “O” ring creating friction between the flow and trigger.
