I like to use tamiya acrylics when i paint a model but i have just got a revell heinkel 111 kit and have come across some paints in the kit instruction’s that i cannot find in the tamiya paint chart they are
I’ve been looking all morning. I can’t find Revell numbers based on the ones you’ve listed. I did find a chart http://www.barelyhangingon.co.uk/paints/pages/revell.htm but I don’t trust it as it gives Humbrol H56 for the Light Blue which according to Humbrol is Aluminium! (note clever use of English spelling! [;)] )
I would try XF-63 for the Anthracite, XF-23 for the Light Blue & XF-27 Black Green for the Patina Green. Your eye and monitor may differ than mine! I know I’ve used those the first two colors for the Monogram He-111 I’ve started, and all three for a Stuka.
Craig, you might want to try Gunze acrylics. Very similar to Tamiya, but with colours pre-mixed, ie all the key RLM colours, and thin perfectly with Tamiya thinner.
