i was wondering if anyone has built this model and if so, is there any advice that they could give me?
It’s an older Tamiya kit , that builds into an accurate " 88 " , with no major fit problems . The kit can be made into one of 2 versions , the FLAK 36 , or FLAK 37 . It comes with a crew , as well as ammunition , including spent rounds , ammunition cases , and even a dispatch rider with a motorcyle . It also can be built on the gun carriage( which features hard rubber tires , that require minimal clean up ) , or dismounted . I have built several of these over the years , and I am happy with the kit .

Jesus,
I have to agree that it’s a fun kit to build and you’ll find that you’ll have little or no problems
with the fit…It has many options, comes with a nine man crew…and offers great
possibilities as a diorama piece.
Good detail and can be modeled in german grey and dark yellow/green/or brown…I’ll
take a few snaps of mine tomorrow and put them up for you to see…I have it done
in dark yellow and green camo.

One thing that I remember about the instructions is bogus, however. If you read the Tamiya instructions, you’ll be lead to believe that only the Flak 37 was used in the ground (anti-tank) role and the Flak 36 was used only in the AA role. The Flak 36 and Flak 37 were distinct variations, both of which were designed for multiple roles (AA, AT and indirect fire).
yhea it is a really good kit, you should enter it in the Artillary GB
