I lost the headlights to my Tilly, and I don’t want to buy a whole new kit just for the headlights. Has someone else purchased an “EXTRA” kit from which they don’t need the headlights? I can’t get Tamiya to answer my calls for parts purchase, so they are not a viable option. I don’t mind buying the parts and covering postage. I have some limited stuff to trade, too, if I have anything you are looking for.
Try scratch-building some new ones? Headlights aren’t that complicated and would be a good part to give it a try?
I agree. You’re looking at a part with a circumference not much bigger than a pinhead, I think as long as you have something there that looks close, it wont ruin the overall effect.
They’re the same part, except one is in clear and one isnt. Give scratchbuilding a shot. Very satisfying. Realistically, your chances of getting someone with “spare” headlamps is pretty remote.
