Hi Guys, my latest build. This is a horrible kit. Fitting is terrible. A massive gap will appear when you fit the fuselage, many filing and filling need to be done. The decal is also terrible. It is so thin that it will roll and wrap itself when it is out of water. Fortunately, there are 3 marking available. So I still able to salvage whatever is available and make out this Gripen. At least, it still turn out decent.
Before that, I never knew Gripen is such a tiny combat aircraft.
Looks good from here, the ordinance really makes it look mean. The kit may have been boxed by Tamiya, but I would guess it’s origin is Italeri.

lol…What you described (Thin decals and bad fit) is the exact OPPOSITE of what usually happens with Tamiya.
The jet looks great! I love the array of missiles. It looks really good and I can assure you by looking at the pictures, it was well worth any struggle you may have had.
