Usually don’t venture into wingy thingys but I need a break from tanks. Always liked the ME-262 and it’s shark look.
Spent the first couple of hours prepping parts for tomorrow. I am not used to working in 1/48 anymore! Everything is so tiny which is a challenge with shaky hands.
Going to close up the gun bay in the nose which is a little bit of a shame with the nicely detailed cannons. After two hours I gave everything a bath in soapy water and should start painting tomorrow.
I built this kit before almost twenty years ago! And it was and is the best aircraft model I have built.
Going to build 9./JG 7 piloted by Hans-Guido Mutke who towards the end of the war flew white 3 to Sweden on accident or so he claimed.
At first I wasn’t going to pick this build due to the complex camouflage but after watching a video I have a pretty good idea how to paint it.
