Hi all- new member
I recently decided to dig out my old 70’s kit of the BI/BIII Lancaster, and discovered that the canopy was shattered beyond redemption. I’ve searched the web, and there doesn’t seem to be any aftermarket ones, and looking at the Tamiya site, they only seem to service US customers (I’m in Canada).
Just wondering if any one has any suggestions as to how I might get hold of such a thing?

Squadron carries a Falcon vac-formed set “RAF Pt 2” item #FA0140 which includes a Lancaster canopy. A lot of money if you just plan on using the 1 canopy, but it includes many other RAF types as well. Not a bad investment if you have the other aircraft in the stash. They are showing it in stock currently
I would assume that they would service Canadian customers as well. Most companies do, as it’s all North America to them. Wouldn’t hurt to ask them.

Contact Tamiya Customer Service at 1-800-826-4922. They will replace it for you. I’ve done it in the past and had no issues.

You may be in luck & get one of the the current production batch with pre-painted canopy frames from Tamiya.
If not, 7 of 10 of the canopies on the Falcon set are for currently available kits, leaving you 3 for experiments in polishing & cutting.
