Tamiya 1/35 PZ-IIc

shelf queen. early version with rounded front hull and BIG target crosses before they learned to cover them up with mud. length and link track, Legend resin storage.the fuel cans were annoying as some of the handles were broken but i have at least 4 kits of fuel cans in the stash. vallejo gray, tracks are Tamyia dark iron. i know they should be shinier steel, maybe metallic gray, but i am of the artistic school. oil filters and pin washes. some of that was covered up by the powders and pastels for the dust. this is early in the Polish campaign so pretty new for damage and dirt. i did have a bogger on the upper left turret i got tired of filling, masking, pinting, and blending so i turned it into a glancing blow from an AT Rifle.

generic photo base. i would have used my more colorful ones for modern armor but this looked lost on them .

Turned out really nice - and I like that base a lot. Well done and it sure feels good to finish a shelf queen.

I think that it looks great! Nice job on the weathering and on the stand.

Yeah, sharp job on the Panzer II and the base! Love the storage!

And yes it’s awesome to finish off a shelf queen!

4 more shelf queens in the queue. well e now finished the M5. think i will work on M4. getting tired of US WW2 stuff which is probably why they were shelf queens.

Same thing on the nice dusting effects and the base really fits nice.
