Tamiya 1/24 LaFerrari ...FINISHED.

Guys,

This is the Tamiya LaFerrari in 1/24th scale. With the P/E set and additional carbon fiber decals.

This is a very finely engineered kit and really not a relaxing type of build. The P/E and decals require a great deal of work. The building and painting sequence has to be planned very carefully. A lot of very careful C/A gluing on of painted parts

The large front windshield did not require glue it just snapped in place due to the fine engineering. The back engine glass had tabs so the C/A got nowhere near the glass.

The OOB stick on metal Ferrari symbols are extremely fragile and small. Note: they will pull up the carbon fiber decals if they need to be re-adjusted so beware.

Like many fine kits (the Tamiya Famo and Trailer come to mind, with that insane Aber P/E set), many of the decals did not get used. Just too difficult and too small.

I will post finish photos when done but this kit demonstrates how far ahead Tamiya remains in quality of engineering, and for decades at that.

P.S. The awesome 1/18th resin figure of “The Old Man” is from Poland (Ebay), with my painting.

Coming along nicely! The figure looks good too!

Excellent build thus far! I get stressed just looking at all the parts on that engine. I think a person really needs to bring the ‘A’ game when building a modern Ferrari, particularly one with a plethora of PE parts.

Finished photos added to the top post.

Hmmm;

It seems that Signore Enzo Ferraro Couldn’t get enough of trying to top his last one .Good presentation of , To Me the ultimate confused but flowing lines of his baby .

What a GORGEOUS car WW, now I see what you meant by being a meticulas modeler. I like the looks of those “super” cars alot. All those swooping angles make it look fast just sitting still. Your figure is very fitting as well, he looks EXACTLY like the kinda middle aged man who would enjoy the company of a fine automobile.

Thanks Guys,

These newer Tamiya car kits are out of this world.
