I finished the 1/48 ProModeler Ta 154 cockpit today. The rear of the instrument panel will be visible from above, so I wired it also. The Eduard detail really adds a lot to what is a very nice kit.

Thanks for letting me share the progress with you !
Looks like your making some good head way.
Thad
Looks fantastic Pix. You really nail the pits.
Regards, Rick
Pix, looks great…as usual.
Stunning work as usual, Bill! Thanks for letting us see! [:)]
Take care,
Frank
Looks great, I really like the throttles.
Outstanding Pix!! The gauges look very realistic. Can’t wait to see more.

Beautiful work, wish I had 1/10 of that sort of skill. Keep it up!!
Thanks Thad, Rick, Model Grandpa, Frank, Karl, waikong, dragonfly, and knight !
waikong - the console has just slits for the levers, so I backed it with styrene. It gave me something to hold the wash, and a better attachment point for the levers.
dragonfly - the gauges are all PE with photo negative instruments. It’s my favorite way to do them. I think that they’re the best improvement that can be made to a 'pit after you add the belts.
knight - I just get to spend a lot of time at the bench. If I’m not satisfied with something along the way, I redo it. It’s time-consuming, but I get a feeling of accomplishment.
Thanks again !
Pix- if you are shooting for perfection, I think you nailed it.
Pixilator,
Where you gonna hide the nose weight? When I built mine a year or so ago, I had to put weight behind the engine nacelles, because there just wasn’t room in the nose for any. And it still had a tendency to be tail-heavy. Hope you have better luck with yours. It is a cool-looking plane when done!!
Thanks armorman and Devil Dawg !
armorman - no, far from perfection. The day I do something flawlessly is the day I find another hobby ! Approaching my ideals keeps me opening that next kit box !
D.D. - I have a sheet of lead flashing. I can cut any size and shape I need. The nacelles will be filled, and I can get more in the nose. I think I’ll be alright.
Thanks again !
