I´d like to know what manufacturers build this model…
…what better place to ask than here
Input is appreciated!
cheers!

I believe the Trimaster kit is the best, but it is very hard to find…unless you’re Pix. He’s the man!
Jerry
There was only one manufacturer that molded the kit in 1/48. Trimaster released it in 1989 (kit# MA-9). There are white metal parts, a lot of photoetched pieces, and brass tube and wire. A complete Junkers Jumo 213E-1 is included (you can find my thread on the engine build here: http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=43208
This is the Trimaster kit box. You might find one on eBay, but they’re expensive.

The kit was later reboxed by DML and Dragon. There are no white metal, tube, or wire parts, and far less photoetch. There is an engine, however. This is the Dragon kit box.

Italeri picked up the molds sometime later. These are all-plastic kits, and have no engine. Since the engine is visible through the open wheel wells, it’s appearance suffers without one (unless you build it gear up).
None of these are currently in production. eBay, hobby shops, and private sales may be your best bet.
Hope this helps !
Hey Pix… have you started on the cockpit yet?
Jerry
Yup…been out of modelling the last 5 years…in the working schooling myself at the university and spare time has been mostly spent on Il-2 sim as you might have guessed on my sig… anyways those two were the one´s i knew about from back then…
Thanks for the quick replies!
BTW how about any conversion kits for fw 190 d9 to ta-152?
Or in fact are there any big scale models the Ta-152…say 1:32 or even 1:24?
Sorry for being a pain…[:I]
Welcome ! I don’t know about big scale but I recall seeing several 1/72 scale TA152 kits including H1 and C0. I think Dragon and Aoshima. Hope that helps.
NIK14,
Trumpeter is supposed to be releasing a 1:32 Ta-152H this year. The Trimaster kit is fantastic, the DML a bit less so, but still worth it.
Converting a D-9 to a Ta-152 is pretty tough. The fuselage is longer, as is the cowl and “power egg”. The wings would be the tough part, though, since the entire thing is different from the 190. You could possibly do a 152C, but that’s a whole other ball of wax. I converted one of the DML 152H’s to a C several years ago, and it was a bear to do. Trimaster did a 152C conversion, but it is ridiculously hard to find, immensely expensive and from what I’ve heard, poorly molded.
RV Resin also did a 152C, but they’re out of production and even harder to find.
Hope that helps!
Here is my DML build, II enjoyed it very much, a really great kit.

mmmmm…ta152 in 1:32…mmmmmmm
Thanks Cobra! Thats gonna be neat ![]()
Oh and thanks Crockett for making me dribble even more lol
Cheers!
