T34 Interior

I would like to open up some hatches in my Dragon # 6092 T34/76 1940.
Is there a AM set that anyone out there could recomend?
I got myself the Master Box “Bail out” figurines (excellent) and it just does not make sence to open up those hatches with 0 interior.

Thank You
Svenne

if you look through some back issues of FSM they had an article about Trumpeter’s 1/16 scale T-34 that has some awesome interior detail. Other wise you’ll have to look on the internet (or spend some money on a good book).

Are you looking for interior of the turret or hull? Is is some what hard to see into the T-34 hull unless you are showing it with the turret blown off (then I doubt you would get much in the way of “bailing out”).

Grizz

…try Tank Workshop—they used to offer some nice but simple resin interiors…

Thanks for the tips guys, I have been a subscriber since 2005 but I could not find that issue, maybe lost in a move.
For some reason the search engin on this site does not understand 1/16 and T-34 but I finaly found Treadwell’s and Jann Solo’s excellent work and will scratch build based on their postings.

Truly inspirational what you guys did with those kits!

Lots of useful piccies of the interior of a Trumpeter 1/16 T-34/85 (I know you’re doing a T-34/76, but if you’re only doing detail visible through the hatches, it’s good enough) here:

Also, if you can find a Hobbyboss 1/48 T-34/76, you can use that as a reference. It’s a pretty good kit in its own right, too.
