Would the modern Russian camo set colume 1 or 2 from ammo Mig work ?
Set 2 looks perfect. Set 1 is for export vehicles.
We got a chance to operate with the Kuwait Army’s M-84, a Yugoslavian produced variant of the T-72. It was brand new, and a POS. Renamed because of the poor reputation the T-72 earned during Desert Storm.
I had served on M48A5, M60A3TTS, M1IP, M1A1 and M1A1 heavies by then. My experience on tanks was nearly a decade at that time.
The tank I was on was made by the same country that made the Yugo. The quality was similar. Lots of gee whiz stuff that didn’t work well, cheaply made controls and fittings, and I knew the armor couldn’t take a hit from a US 105 mm or 120 mm tank round.
The entire T-90 series is just rebranded T-72s with some updated features. Chuck some more ERA and spaced armor to give it a more “modern” appearance, like being done with the M60A1/A3 series of tanks, and you still have a lesser tank that the more modern Abrams, Leopard 2, Challenger II series tanks.
