Still working on it, what do you guys think of it sofar? [swg]

Looks absolutely beautiful so far. Did you allready start a thread outlining the painting? If not, I’d really like to read about your technique.

Thanks! [:D]

No, i did not put one on this forum (sorry 'bout that![:I])

I did post a SBS on planet armor though… you can check it out here: http://www.planetarmor.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2350

Have to agree with Zoran, that’s a beautiful finish in the making.

Thanks! [:D]
The first mud is on. It is suposed to be a abandoned vehicle, in a build-up area, hence the rather clean apperance of the tracks and roadwheels [;)]
I gave the mesh a drybrush with white, but i’m not too pleased with the result… i should have opted for real mesh [:(]

What do you think?

Jan, the mud on the hull sides and front is well applied, nice job! The mud on the rear does not look too naturally applied, the clumps of mud look as though they’re jus’ restin’ on the surface, instead of bein’ a part of it! The mud on the track wheels is the same, and is not consistent. They need more textured coverage, in keepin’ with the overall look you have! All this is easily put right, though! [;)]

Nonetheless, this is a damn fine build, with paint an’ all! [:D]

Mud will always be a problem in others eyes! YOu did a great job on the mud IMHO. Mud is never consistant and I swear it subscribes to the chaos theory! Your mud looks like the real deal to me bro!

excellent, excellent job on the whitewash and the mud[tup]-- very nicely done man!— treadwell
