Thank you all for your kind words. They are much appreciated. Marc, I didn’t fill the holes. I used a file to file down the window until the sink mark was gone, then I sanded and futured them. This also required filing off the outside edge or lip so that they could once again sit flush with the frame of the aircraft. Take a look at the before and after photo half way down page one.
WOW ! Nice job ! I have had one of those in my stash for over 30 years. Every once in a while I’ll open it up, look the parts, shake my head and close it back up. It’s encouraging to see that a nice looking model can be made from the those parts !

Depressingly better than my effort! Nice work. This is a pretty rough kit and you have make a very slick final product. I appreciate that the Airfix “mad riveter” had a pretty good time on this kit but looking at photos there is a fair amount of panel/rivet detail. I think the flight crew on this baby would have been very impressed with the finish!
