Hey all,

As part of the “In my Stash” GB, I have been tasked with building my Accurate Miniatures Stormovik. I have been trying to locate any PE or add-on kits, but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know of detail kits that are available for this kit (in 1/48th)?

CMK makes a cockpit set (#4004) that includes resin and PE goodies. Also, Eduard makes a few sets, #48227 for the cockpit and #48228 for the bomb bays and flaps. Moskit exhausts (if you can find them) are also available (#4828).

Can I ask how the Accurate Miniatures Stormovik compares to the Eduard Stormovik kit?

From what I hear, the Eduard kit is a mix of AM’s Il-2’s, the fuselage from the 2-seat version and the wings are the straight one’s, from the single-seat version, plus they include their own masks & PE.

I wish I could tell you, but I am only familiar with the AM kit. I can say that it is a pretty nice kit, but I would guess the Eduard kit is as well.
