So, why doesn’t anyone make an 88" wheelbase Land Rover model? All I see ‘out there’ are 109" kits. It just ain’t right.
My list of “why don’t they make an XXXX” is massive. They make what sells and that is all.
The best way I have observed to get that " Golden Kit" is to scratch build it…almost gauranteed as soon as you finish SOMEONE ie EVERYONE will pop that exact kit.
A friend build 72nd armor and more than once he has scratched a unique vehicle and BOOM, the market was flooded with the same…in resin, plastic, PLUS aftermarket.
My wishlist is massive also.
There’s this one

Supposed to come out this year.
Not just one version but 3!
All these years all I had to do was say why didn’t they make it?
WHY DOESN’T ANYBODY MAKE A 1958 FORD CUSTOM 300 TWO DOOR?
Thanks for the heads up John. I missed that announcement on Scalemates.
Hoo Yah, not a stupid question at all. That’s a widely used vehicle in service around the world, and quite an overlook by the folks who make military wheeled vehicle kits.
Now I’m going to sound ungrateful, but I was really looking for a Series III . . .
Yeah, I know, picky, picky, picky.
Thanks for the input, everyone.
Actually, and I know there is a thread on this elsewhere, but we need a few less Iowas and Bismarcks, and a few more amphibs and support ships / craft too (while I’m asking)
Well it worked before so they should hit the market any minute now!
Im kinda partial to landing craft myself [;)]
Gecko has one on the wish list covered with a couple of 1/35 LCAs inbound…
Now for a DD Sherman… [whstl]
Because it doesn’t have guns.
Bill
I agree with you HooYa. I think more support ships would be great also. I am including amphibs with that. They dont give enough credit to the boats.
