Stumped by the Monogram Devastator....

I am hoping someone here has built this one and can help me out. I have added as much PE as I have the stomach for and have tried closing the fuselage around the interior. The Monogram instructions are not exactly helpful as to where exactly to place the cockpit and all the interior parts though…and I am having trouble placing it. When I do it one way, the front part of the fuselage halves are not even close to meeting up…when I try moving the interior back, the halves close up better but then the interior is crooked. Help anyone??

Mike, it’s been years since I built one, but I don’t recall any difficulty in getting the pit into the fuselage. I built it OOTB, so maybe some of the AM you used is causing an interference.

Regards, Rick

you got any pictures of the problem if we can see what the problem is the better the idea we have of solving it.
Mike

Thanks guys…

I have some things to try…will let you know [;)]

It seems the Devastator is as bad a model as it was a combat aircraft. LOL Seriously though I don’t remember the fit as being that that bad. But, that was a LONG time ago, and I wasn’t near the modeler I am now. By a long shot.

I had no problems with mine either. Are you sure you know how to put it together being as its a torpedo bomber and you usually do dive bombers?[:D]

Hey now [;)]

I’ll have you know I was successful and with only a very little amount of seam filling to do LOL
