Stuka has some color - finally.

The primary colors are on the Ju-87 D-5 now, just out of the paint room tonight.

Still have a lot of work to do but she is starting to look like a Stuka.

Swanny how do you mask those luftwaffa camo schemes and what do you use masking tape or other?

Nice, crisp paint job. Looks great Swanny.

Regards, Rick

Masking tape.

very nice job swanny. lines are very clean.

Oh my[#dots] can I fly 'er?[;)]

Definately looking like a stuka, Swanny. What markings will she be wearing over that pretty coat?

Swanny,

Love the splinter camo paint job! Can’t wait to see the finished a/c! Thanks for sharing with us mere mortals [bow] !

This will be done as one of the 115 Ju-87 Ds sent to Romania.

Nice work, Swanny !
Nice & crisp camo patern…

Cheers,

Jürgen

Some people think the splinter scheme is boring. Personally, I never get tired of it, and yours looks great! The preshading is masterfully done. Great job Matt.

Very nice Swanny… very nice indeed.

Saint Micheal’s crosses seem popular these days. Several forum topics and a couple of the books I’ve been perusing feature them. They do seem to be a little more colorful.

Actually it’s the King Michael’s Cross. I’ve been a fan of the Yellow Crosses on WW2 aircraft for many years, I think it makes an interesting alternative to the German markings on aircraft normally seen in the Luftwaffe. I also get a lot of contract customers from Romania and the surrounding area, not sure why but I’m happy building them. Funny item, at the local KFC here there is a girl from Romania working there – I think I freaked her out when I greeted her in Romanian, ya know, big balding American with lousy accent [:D]

Thats a great paint-job Swanny, If I ever build a Stuka, I want it to look like that!

Regards,

Darren.

Very nice, as always. Heck, you may have inspired me to give pre-shading a try on my next project!

Keep up the good work! [:D][tup]
