Stuart progress pics

Thought I would put a couple of more progress pics of the Stuart for your hopeful enjoyment and comments. This is just a fun little build so far [:)]. Let me know if you see something to improve upon.

Changed the seat colors to the correct black color and tried a little weathering on them.

Progress with the indi tracks so far. Let me know if they are looking allright or if I need to do some corrective measures.

As always i appreciate your comments as they have always improved my results. Thanks.

I saw these on your webpage. They are coming along nicely and your right, they do make a difference. The Stuart looking real good.

looking good [:D]

Your Stuart is really looking great Chris … very clean build on the exterior and your interior is nicely weathered.

One small comment on the tracks before you get too far. Stuart tracks, like the Sherman tracks, are “live” so they have very little noticable sag. They should be a very straight and flat run across the top of the return rollers and skids. I have attached a pic that shows that. Hope this helps a bit.

Your build really makes me want to go out and get one of these little beauties !!!
Thanks for sharing Chris.

Looks like a nice build so far. Keep us up-to-date!

Hey now…

What’s this?? [:)]

Looking better than ever Chris. Good progress on the tracks, too.

More pics as you go along will be appreciated.

Thanks everyone.
Robert- thanks for the pic. I was figuring that they needed to be straightened out some, right now thy are just laid on top. It is a fun little build , I would recommend the kit even if the interior is inaccurate. I’ve not noticed any real fit problems or anything this far into it other than the lower machine gun, just had waller the hole out a bit more to get the gun through it.

Looks great Chris. You seem to be moving right along. Glad you’re not letting the detail problem get you down. Think of this one as a warm up for the super detail job you’re going to do later [;)]

Mike

Very nice Chris. I can not wait to see the finished tank.

its looking great Chris what colour paint did you use

Chris,

Here’s something you can improve on: put a gun on it.[(-D]

Seriously, impressive work youve done so far. Great weathering on the interior, too. The crew really must have been busy. Great job!

Jon- I used Model Master OD thinned a bit and airbrushed.

Allan- I was wondering why something did’nt look right, been scratching my head for a week now.[;)]

Thanks everyone for the compliments, hope to have it done this weekend.

Nice looking Stuart. Keep up the good work.
