Due to the launch of Strkyer IAFV kits , I would like to try to sketch build a cage armour around the Strkyer . One problem that i encounter is , Is the small exit at the ramp door is still in use ? Any advise or any modellers had try to build cage armour around the 1/35 strkyer ?
the small rear door isnt used ,to exit the thing they use the ramp and it rests on the cage .i too am trying to scratch build the cage

For those interseted Trumpeter is coming out with that armor as a seperate item. I have seen it advertized at
under new releases this week
Unfortunately, the Trump PE Update set does not include the bar armour. It is just a big PE update set with details they didn’t/couldn’t do in plastic and didn’t bother to add the PE sheets to the kit.
Here is a discussion of it on Missing-Lynx. It also includes pics that show no slat armor.
I think they should have added it to the kit from the beginning and not rush the kit out for sales.
Disappointing to find out that it is not part of the Trumpeter set. When I saw the update on Perth’s site yesterday, I immediately thought that it would have been the armour upgrade. Reading the Missing Lynx discussion, and looking closer at the pictures, it looks like they’re right. Too bad.
