Stikpusher 2019 - Pass In Review!

Well, numberwise, I completed one more project than last year, for a whopping total of four… but mid year I got bogged down in a couple of projects that ended up taking far more time than I had available, so four it is.

  1. Airfix 1/32 QF 17 Pounder Anti Tank Gun

  1. Tamiya 1/35 Sdkfz 222

  1. Tamiya 1/35 Leopard 1A4

  1. Bandai 1/144 Incom T-65 X-Wing

Next year should be better… thanks for looking.

Nice grouping Stik, I really like the Leopard. Hope you have a GREAT 2020.

They are 4 really nice builds Carlos, great work. Look forward to 2020.

Four is two more than I got built. And mine aren’t likely to win any awards. I did try bribing the judges with donuts, it didn’t work. This year I’m going to try pie.

All joking aside congradulations on your well deserved awards- looking forward to seeing what you’ve got planned in 2020!

.

My favorite has to be that 17 pounder!

Great stuff! I really like the 222

Thank you guys! Very much appreciated. But it looks like I forgot one…

So that makes five for this year. I feel better about that…

Zvezda 1/35 BTR-70

Well done stick. Love the sdkfz 222.

Cheers

Thanks Castel. The 222 was a fun project.

Nice group of builds Carlos. I’m not much into armor but you know how to build armor.

Thanks TJ. I’m kinda surprised that I completed zero aircraft last year. Although the X-Wing is kinda close. I will address that this year.

Great builds Stik! Look foward to seeing your 2020 projects!

That’s a nice year of armor there, and Red One (or was that Red Leader?) looks great!

Real & Aggie, thanks for your kind words. Yes Aggie, that is indeed Red Leader. Everybody does Luke’s mount. I wanted to do mine a bit different.

All look really nice, stick. [Y]

I’m developing a star wars bandai problem. I really want that x wing.

In regards to the 17lb. gun…

Did you use static grass on the diorama base?

Does the figure come with the kit?

Excelent job Stick

Beautiful work Carlos…you definitely deserved those awards. Outstanding job sir. Also, where did you purchase those camo nets for your leopard tank? That was a wonderful touch to your build.

Ted, MC, Drifter, thank you! I am happy to hear that you like these builds.

Drifter, I found the camo netting on eBay. Just type in 1/35 camo net for a search and adjust the search to low price first. It should show up. It is a paper product, and was quite inexpensive. But it’s hit and miss on availability. I would like to get some more for future projects.

Thank you Carlos for the info. You did a splendid job on the build and the use of the netting. It really looks sharp!
