he guys, this is way off topic but with things being rather tense in the forums lately i thought maybe we could have a little fun and laugh at something. first off , congrats to stern0 for his wife is giving birth to a baby boy in november. secondly, as part of the fun i thought we could make up some rules his kid should be taught/should follow when it comes time for daddy to “teach” him about modelling. i’ve come up with these 3. hope you’ll “play” along guys. [:D]
rule #1…dont sniff the glue!!!
rule #2 dont eat the glue!!!
rule #3 dont glue dad’s toys to the bench!!!
jim barton: came up with this one
Rule #4: Don’t paint the doggie and/or the kitty with Daddy’s airbrush!
You guys are toooooo much!!! Great rules though…my sign for the work space is getting bigger…might have to make a video presentation…Thanks for the congrats Col. I’m in for some BIG changes! hope you guys are avalible 24/7 for advice![:D]
Congrats and hope you are getting a little sleep. Our daughter was 15 months old the first time she slept through the night[zzz] When the little one gets a little older…
No matter how tempting it is don’t use your Black Cat firecrackers and dad’s 1:35 scale armor collection to reenact famous battles.
When you have company at the house don’t ask them if they want to see the “toys” that dad is always playing with.
Don’t use your dad’s model enamel to make cool tattoos for your little brother or sister.
Do not take Daddy’s models out to the sandbox to play with.
Do not use Daddy’s models for “target practice” by throwing the football at them.
Do not play “Demolition Derby” with Daddy’s model cars.
Do not color Daddy’s instruction sheets with crayons; do not paint Daddy’s models with watercolors “to make them look pretty.”
One more word, Stern0: You’ll be absolutely amazed at how fast kids grow! One day he’s in diapers, and the next thing you know, you’re helping him choose a tuxedo for the senior high-school prom.
no tiger hunting,no panther hunting.what not to use for targets with his first dart gun…i gotta say theres a few clever ,shall we say rules of engagement showing up here.[swg]congrats young man,a build that will last a lifetime is at your finger tips…
Promise us that you will let us know right away if you find something that works out great for both the baby and our model hobby. Maybe white diapers or baby powder can be used in the winter diomara or something like that… [tup]
