Stencil "FONT" Identification Help Needed . . .

I am having difficulty identifying a STENCIL “Font”, used on the Ling-Temco-Vought ( LTV ) Scout launch vehicle. Please note, in the pics below, the SAME Stencil appears on an equipment locker in one of the photo’s. The time period is circa 1963 - 1970.

Thanks, in advance, for your help !

USAAFCSTENCIL. You can download them from www.dafont.com.

Thanks for the reply . . .

Unfortunately, the USAAF Stencil font is not a match for the one I need. From what I readm the USAAF font was WWII era, while the one I’m looking for is in the Vietnam Era time period, circe 1963-1970.

It looks like the stencils have been cut by a “Marsh” stencil cutting machine which was apparently pretty common WW2 onwards.

Having a look around I don’t see the actual / original “Marsh Stencil” font available online, but there is a “revival” font commonly available;

Nice find . . . That looks very, very close, if not the exact Font !

I’m going to try it out and see how it works . . . THANKS !!!

I found a Chart of all the MARSH Stencil Characters . . . I think this is a MATCH !

That’s also the “revival” font (G’s & N’s are noticeably different)…

If you’re a real stickler for details it might be worth dropping Marsh an email to see if the have a font set available for their original design;

Great idea to contact Marsh . . . I’ll do that !
