I’m sure many of you recall this thing:
There was speculation abound that it was a new aircraft… blah blah blah… when it was really just a mock up for a movie called ‘Stealth’.
Anyhoo, that was quite some time ago and just recently a trailer for the flick has been released. You can check it out here:
Looks like typical Hollywood stuff, but for some reason this one is rather appealing…

Pretty much, probably. To go one step further, this movie will probably be so bad that when I get home from the theater it’ll be on cable…
And no Jessica Biel is NOT the reason I find this flick to be appealing… I have a wide and varied taste in cheesecake but she ain’t it… [yuck] I inherited more than a mere casual interest in sci-fi from my Dad, and this film seems to have many ties to the sci-fi genre. (If this was a pure sci-fi flick, ya’ll probably wouldn’t be so hard on it either… [;)] )
Anyhoo, I’m not easily impressed by anything that Hollywoord churns out, but I’m capable of wearing several caps while watching a flick. When it concerns such a film as this one, which has some basis in reality, I’m often times quite the critic.
However, every once in awhile I like to wear the fat, dumb and happy cap and look forward to a good entertaining film. Cheesy or not, this flick looks like it might be very entertaining and I’m rather looking forward to it. Besides, it can’t be any worse than TOP GUN…

It probably has some decent shots of real planes and carrier ops, so that would make it worth going to see. The “Stealth” plane itself is obviously a piece of whale dung and belongs at about that level.

There’s not much that was worse than Top Gun…
Looks pretty cheesy - but I bet the CGI will be fairly impressive…I wonder how many actual naval aviators and flight deck crew will view the film and freak about all the errors in procedure that they see…
Well personally I enjoy gratuitous T&A in cheesy flicks like this…I am just hoping Biel Anties up. Theater…no…DVD…no…Netflix…hell yeah!!![:P][;)]
Hotshot pilots who are about to be replaced by a machine, only to have to hunt down and destroy said machine when it goes rogue and threathens thousands of innocent lives? I liked it a whole lot better the first time, back when it was called “Macross Plus.” Hell, the “brain” of that AI fighter even looks like the one from the AI fighter in MacPlus. …and is it just me, or does the AI plane look like a 2005 version of Testors F-19?
(Oh well, at least we’re finally getting a good Batman movie this summer.)
