Hi Guys,
I haven’t made one for years but am thinking of buying and building the Has’ 1/32 Starfighter for my nephew who just likes cool looking jets.
Is the 1/32nd any good?I know it is a few years old now but Hasegawa is generally trustworthy.
By the way does anybody remember a vinyl album from years ago dedicated to the Luftwaffe Starfighters? It was a double concept album by a group I forget now but the best song was entitled.“.Anybody want to buy a Starfighter? Then buy an acre of ground and wait” Seems it was a saying doing the rounds at the time they lost so many of them to pilot error.

The Hasegawa 1/32 Starfighter is a whale of a kit, I have one and it was a nice kit to build. You won’t go wrong if that’s what you want.
The hasegawa 1/32 kit has always got pretty good reviews. I’ve not built one, but I have built their 1/48 kit & it’s very nice.
Regards, Rick
I remember that saying about buying the acre of ground, and when the Luftwaffe first got their 104’s, it wasn’t far from the truth. One thing I wish I could have seen was their two-ship demonstration team. I would have loved to have seen, after reading the descriptions of the shows, what could be done aerobatically with an airplane designed to go pretty much in a straight line very, very fast.

I’ve seen a two ship demo team just a couple of years ago. I believe they were a privately owned team.
