Although we are heavily working on our AT-AT 1/48, the AT-ST 1/72 Chicken Walker is still alive!! Here you have some of the progress we’ve done lately. There are still some details to be fixed, such as cannons, some of the leg tubes, belly and neck cables, as well as some several final touches all around the model. We must say most of the work has been already done, thanks to new laser cut and 3D printing technologies.
Hi Trabi, thanks for your kind words! it´s about 16 inches tall (40 cms tall) and yes, we used some blueprints, but not only. We have used tons of pictures of the original model too.
6,3 meters looks more plausible than 8,6 when you look pictures from movies. So I think your scale is ~1:16 [;)]
We used those drvings what you can find from RPF also as base when we made our own. And lots of pictures. It took about four months from seven guys to finnish and about ten hours to build it up from ten guys. 6,4 meters tall and weight about 200kg.
Keep up good working MK! I will follow this topic with big interest! [Y]
Guess we’ll have time enough to thank you before fainting. This is the first time we see that absolutely incredible work. Man it’s not only huge but also you managed to add tons of cool details. THUMBS UP!!
Thanks again for the info, we just wanted to make something 16 " high but we were wrong at measuring the real one. We’ll definitely trust you.
