Star Wars 3d printed figure busts

Hi everyone, these were some of my first prints that I did.

These busts/figures are amazing. If I was better with technology and YOUNGER I’d invest in a 3-D printer.

Thanks Mr. Tom. Actually 3d printing is not as hard as you think. I buy my files online, slice them on Lychee’s slicing progam and then print them.

Fantastic paint work!

Ventress is very cool! I saw a writeup on a company that does Star Wars busts in Sweden but shipping was almost more than the piece!

Thanks Roger and Jeeves. These are pretty cheap, $10 for each file and then the cost of the liquid resin. Has opened up alot of opportunities for me.

Nice prints! What printer are you using?

Awesome! Bossk and Ventress - two under-appreciated villains, painted up really nice. Thanks for posting!

And you can find 1000s of stl files for free on makerworld and otters. I am using the Bambu lab X1 Carbon. It uses filament instead of liquid resin. Not as messy but also not as fine of a print.

Incredible paint job. You are the master and I am only the Padawan leaner

Thanks Toimi Tom and Kenaslan appreciate you looking in.

Kenaslan, i am far from a master, but i have been learning a lot.

NucMed, when you paint your figures/busts, what type of paint do you use, acrylic or oil? I’m trying to get into figure painting and have seen videos advocating both types of paints.

Hi Mr. Tom, I use acrylics. Mostly Vallejo and i have been experimenting with Army Painters washes and tones.
