Joaquin Phoenix is a good actor . . . but he is NEVER going to be a Jim Kirk.
Keanu Reeves is an okay actor, good enough to earn a living . . . but I would be a MUCH better Spock (and I’m 54, fat, and short!).
On the other hand, Scarlet Johannsen as Ruth, Kirk’s Academy hottie . . . OH YEAH!!!

Kevin Costner has the personality of, well, Ben Affleck(see shuttlecraft and rocks above)! In fact Affleck could play a young Costner, both with the depth of a piece of toast. I know, I’m insulting toast…[:D]
