Could anyone tell me if “his” SBD Dauntless had a twin or a single machine gun for the gunner?
It’s one of my new projects.

i think it had a twin machine gun. im not sure

Single gun rig. The twin .30 mount did not start coming into combat units until after the Coral Sea, before Midway. Most, if not all of the SBD-3s participating in Midway carried the twin gun rig.
