Does anyone know how I can get a copy of the assembly manual for the Glencoe SS United States kit? I purchased the kit but someone other than the seller had removed the assembly instructions.
Two ideas- first scalemates may have a link to plans
Second if no luck there, googe kit name/brand and “instructions.” The second method has never failed me.
Sadly, it looks like a “bust” on instructions on Scalemates

Ditto!
P.S. You will find also that forward of the lifeboats and directly aft she’s a wee bit short. I believe they used the "American President Lines"hull mold!
Well, I struck out on instructions after a thorough search. However, there were several youtube videos of builds, which may help.
Didn’t Revell make a kit of this ship too in roughly 600th scale?
Scalemates shows 1:601

That’s from the circa 1950s “flat bottom” line of kits where the underwater hull is truncated at about half the draft and made flat.
There are only about a dozen parts in the kit and the end result can be seen to be utterly hollow and rather simplified.
