I saw one of these in a hobby shop this past weekend and decided to give it a try. I didn’t think however that it was a good idea to scrap along a seam. That usually creates a flat spot. But isn’t that what this thing is for? Has anyone else used it? Thanks.

I use mine mostly to remove pin marks from hard-to-reach places. It will work on seams, with light pressure, holding it at almost 90 degrees to the seam. I find a sharp #11 blade more suited for seams on a convex surface, however.
Hope this helps.
Ive seen these for some time…Never bought one though I always use a #11 blade…might pick one up though for the things that cant easily be done with reg Xacto
I bought a seam scraper from Micro Mark that you drag along the seam. It works great removing raised panel lines.
